Tai Le

I am a Biswas Postdoctoral Fellow in the MIT Perceptual Engineering Lab (MIT PEL) within MIT EECS and CSAIL, where I explore different HCI applications in healthcare with nasal interface.

I received my Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine, where I worked in the Hero Lab (PI: Prof. Hung Cao) on wearable biosensors, zebrafish cardiac monitoring systems, and fetal/maternal ECG devices. Prior to MIT, I worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Vena Vitals, Inc., developing continuous blood pressure monitoring systems.

Research Interests

I develop wearable biomedical sensing systems for continuous physiological monitoring, with expertise spanning sensor design, analog circuit development, embedded firmware, and computational signal processing. At MIT, I am investigating the use of nasal interfaces for HCI applications in healthcare. I am open to collaborations — feel free to reach out at taile(at)mit(dot)edu. See my research →
